Meet Dr. My Le
Dr. My Le is the principal dentist at 16th Avenue Dental and is proud to care for families throughout Northwest Calgary. Patients appreciate her calm, gentle manner and the time she takes to explain every step of treatment so they can make confident decisions about their oral health.
Dr. Le completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Manitoba and has practiced general dentistry in both Manitoba and Alberta, including several years of experience in family-focused clinics before opening 16th Avenue Dental. Her clinical interests include preventive and family dentistry, cosmetic treatments, restorative care and helping anxious patients feel more comfortable in the dental chair.
Outside of day-to-day practice, Dr. Le continues to expand her skills through ongoing education and is an active member of professional organizations such as the Alberta Dental Association & College and the Canadian Dental Association. She combines an artistic eye with evidence-informed dentistry to provide treatment plans that are both healthy and natural looking for her NW Calgary patients.

- Following the Alberta Dental Fee Guide: To ensure fair and predictable pricing for our patients, 16th Avenue Dental follows the current Alberta Dental Fee Guide. This means you pay standard, provincially recommended rates for your treatments-no hidden markups or “premium” pricing.
- Direct Insurance Billing: We offer direct billing (assignment of benefits) to most major insurance providers. Our team electronically submits your claims on your behalf, so you only pay the remaining gap (co-pay) at the time of your appointment.
- Accepting the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP): We are proud to participate in the federal Canadian Dental Care Plan. If you are an eligible senior, child, or adult covered under the CDCP (administered by Sun Life), we are fully set up to process your coverage and welcome you to our practice.
- Flexible Payment Options: For costs not covered by insurance, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit, and Cash. If you have questions about financing larger treatment plans, our front desk team is happy to discuss payment arrangements prior to starting treatment.
